SpongeBob SquarePants: Triton's Revenge DVD~ Review

SpongeBob SquarePants- Triton's Revenge
Nickelodeon, celebrating its 31st year, has become the number one entertainment brand for children, offering shows, products, books and more for children world-wide. Paramount and Nickelodeon are presenting SpongeBob SquarePants: Triton's Revenge on July 13th,
with celebrities Victoria Beckham and Sebastian Bach lending their voices to the characters in The Clash of the Triton. In the featured episode, SpongeBob and his friends want to make King Neptune's birthday a special day (it's his 5,000th birthday!) but the absence of the King's banished son Triton spoils the festivities. SpongeBob and pals work together to try to save the day amidst the angry son and his father's feud.

In my family, kids love SpongeBob cartoons and all the fun and characters of each episode. Having a DVD where they can watch a bunch of funny episodes over and over, independant of when the show is on TV, is a real treat. They loved The Clash of Triton, and they also became hysterical watching I Heart Dancing and Tentacle-Vision (Squidward gets his own tv show on that one, lol). All the episodes are very funny, and are even interesting (I admit it, I love SpongeBob too and watched along with nephews). Other episodes on this disc include Sand Castles in the Sand (SpongeBob and Patrick fight eachother with their sand creations), Shell Shocked (Gary breaks his shell and needs to find a new one), Chum Bucket Supreme (Chum Bucket needs a new slogan, and Patrick takes the job), Single Cell Anniversay (Plankton and Karen have an anniversary coming up, but Plankton needs to find the perfect gift, so his buddy helps him out), and I Heart Dancing (SpongeBob's adventures at his dance audition- leave it to Squidward to try to screw things up for him!). These are really funny!

The dvd also offers Special Features that include more silliness in the form of shorts and an episode of Fanboy and Chum Chum: "Wiz Boy/ Pick a Nose" (why do kids love this kind of humor? I don't know, but they do). SpongeBob SquarePants: Triton's Revenge
DVD features seven episodes, including The Clash of Triton, and offers a running time of 89 minutes of fun for your children. It is available on Amazon for only $12.99 starting July 13th (it can be pre-ordered), which is a savings of $4 off the retail price it will be offered at in most stores (so you can pre-order it and get it as soon as it's available). If you are looking for a fun way to entertain your kids, pick up a copy of this DVD.

  1. I will have to check out the DVD. I will admit, I don't really care for Spongebob or Fanboy and Chum Chum, but my seven year old does. Thanks for the review.
