Spongebob SquarePants: Legends of Bikini Bottom- Giveaway (3 Winners)!

In this house, we are huge SpongeBob SquarePants fans- the adults as much as the kids. SpongeBob is our favorite pineapple dweller, and the show is enjoyable for everyone. We so loved SpongeBob's 10 Happiest Moments DVD that we are now loyal fans and understand why this is one of Nickelodeon's most popular shows.

In this new DVD, SpongeBob SquarePants: Legends of Bikini Bottom, things get a bit icky with an evil hag who curses, a mutant monster who drips toxic, smelly sludge, and a "Deliverance" inspired gang who holds them hostage. Other legends include an ancient warrior that comes to help Bikini Bottom survive a volcanic eruption, and the legend of the drain plug that keeps the water from draining out of the sea (and Bikini Bottom), and the reason why things sometimes disappear in Bikini Bottom (don't want to give it away, but maybe this is what happens in the Bermuda Triangle too).

The total running time is over an hour, and special features include a behind the scenes look at the legends as well as three animated shorts. These episodes are hysterical for everyone (adults too), and SpongeBob's innocently positive attitude and perpetually happy demeanor makes him a likable favorite across the board. If you are thinking of buying this one, I recommend 10 Happiest Moments too for your collection (really, you won't regret it).

Fun trivia: I looked up SpongeBob on Wikipedia, and learned that it was created by a marine biologist turned cartoonist/animator who began creating these funny characters over twenty years ago while teaching. Who knew a professor of marine biology could have such a silly sense of humor?
