Personalized Calendars by Tukaiz- Review and Giveaway

Tukaiz Products is an Illinois based company that makes unique calendars and personalized items, right here in the USA, that would make both terrific gifts and mementos. This was a really fun product to review. I wanted to write this review as soon as possible, before many of you buy your 2010 calendars, though if you did you can still certainly get this for a family member (your kids would love to have one of these hanging up in their room), as a gift for someone else, or for yourself in future years.

Tukaiz makes image personalized wall and desk calendars. This means that the images are personalized with the name of whomever you want. The images are a variety of beautiful, fun, and unique photos that offer your name personalized as fireworks, a flock of birds, written in the snow, spelled out in leaves, etc. They offer two "smile sets" to choose from, different sets of photos that offer a variety of fun media for spelling out your name. If you have a son, for example, you may choose the smile set that offers his name on the side of a muscle car and on the jerseys of athletes.


I had a wall calendar personalized with my son's name, which will be a great memento of his first full year of life. I am going to mark the important events that happen to him in 2010 on it, and give it to him one day as a gift. Having a calendar with your name on it makes it more personal, and marking it with daily events that happen to you or your child adds a lot of sentiment to it, allowing it to become a sort of record of your life that year. I love the idea of getting one every year, and saving them (a sort of photojournal souvenir). If you have several children, they are affordable enough to make one for each with their own name, and they'll get a real kick out of seeing their name spelled out in unique ways (roses for February, fireworks for July, and even as cookies). The bottom of each page also says "Designed and produced especially for [Name]".

These calendars would also make a great gift for others, because everyone needs calendars, and having it designed with the recipient's name is a sweet, thoughtful, personal touch that makes this gift a little warmer (and something they may want to save too). It's certainly a unique idea, for someone who has everything, or someone who is hard to shop for, yet it's also both useful and fun.
