The Original Christmas Classics on DVD! Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman, and Santa!

Christmas Classic on Blu-Ray
I loved the Christmas classics growing up. Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer was one of my favorite holidays movies ever. Imagine how thrilled I was to find out that they were now available on Blu-Ray in a Limited Keepsake Edition, for a whole new generation to watch and enjoy. The best part? They look terrific in HD (digitally remastered) and I had the opportunity to review a set that featured three popular classics in Blu-Ray, along with a bonus CD containing all those popular songs we loved growing up, such as Frosty the Snowman and Jingle Bell, sung by greats such as Burl Ives and Smokey Robinson.

The Original Christmas Classics set contains:

Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer- the clay-animation movie about the underdog reindeer with the glowing nose that runs away from home because he is so ashamed of it. This movie is as good as I remembered it, and I am astounded at how good the effects were back in the day, without computer enhancements and CGI effects. I had a great time watching this with little man, and remembering how much I loved the Island of Misfit Toys and how scared I was by the Abominable Snowbeast.

Frosty the Snowman- Everyone's favorite snowman comes to life each year, yelling "Happy Birthday!", with the help of a magician's hat and a Christmas wind. This cartoon movie features some of the most popular holiday songs, and the magical aspect mermerizes young children- I remember wanting a magic hat when I was a child to put on my snowman!

Santa Claus is Coming To Town- It's been years since I've seen this one, and I forgot it. It is so good! It answers the whys of Santa Claus in an imaginative way, such as "Why does Santa Claus have whiskers? Because he was a wanted man and the beard was his disguise!" :) Santa Claus Is Coming To Town is told by Fred Astaire, who also sings the song in the movie.

The Original Christmas Classics a terrific set, and it's about time it was remastered for Blu-Ray for our children to watch. There is also a bonus "Frosty Returns", and the total running time is about 2 1/2 hours. It is available on Amazon with free shipping, on Blu-Ray or regular DVD, and it's going to be featured on our Holiday Gift Guide because we love it!
