My personal favorite sections advised men on how to be good dads, how to bond with their baby, and how to help their wife during the pregnancy and as she adjusts to being a new mom. There is an emphasis on finding constructive solutions and being helpful and understanding.

, a second book offered by Dads Adventure (the books can be bought as a set, and there is a DVD available too to show dad how things are done) is incredibly useful. It's simple and packed full of information men really use, such as how to stop a baby from crying, a man's role in caring for a child, how to balance work and family, and much more. It provides lists, cheat sheets, and charts as well, and while it's aimed at men, it may become indispensable to a new mom too. There is even a section about postpartum depression and how new dad can help. Crash Course for New Dads is a quick read and is set up like a workbook to get dad ready in no time.
