TiVo Premiere

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of TiVo. All opinions are 100% mine.

I'm a pretty busy person. I'm a mom, housewife, blogger, and have a big family with lots going on. I'm definitely not the type to sit in front of a television to pass the time. The only time I can watch tv is if I make a plan to do so, and fit it into my schedule. I did this with the Bachelorette. It was the only show I watched last season, and every Monday night I sat in front of my tv to watch, which frustrated my poor husband, who couldn't get my attention for two hours straight except during commercials.

There are lots of great new shows premiering soon, but because I don't have the time to sit and watch them all, in the past I would miss the beginning of a lot of new shows. Now there is the option to TiVo a show, so it can be watched when you want. The TiVo Premiere, along with the new TiVo Slide remote, makes it easier than ever to watch tv because I can TiVo my favorite shows, or any new shows that look appealing to me, and watch them at my leisure (like when little man is napping), my own personal DVR. A really cool feature of TiVo Premiere is that you can keep track of your favorite actors and discover what else they have done, or plan to do, sort of like the Internet Movie Database (IMDB), and you can watch it right then and there on cable, Netflix, YouTube, etc.

TiVo also offers TiVo Search and TiVo Collections to catch up on new hit shows that you haven't been able to watch yet. You can find upcoming episodes and entire previous seasons on Netflix, Amazon Video On Demand or Blockbuster On Demand. If you subscribe to the Fall TV Guru Guide, you'll have the opportunity to learn about all the new shows premiering. Glee is a break out hit, and I still haven't watched an episode because I didn't have TiVo and didn't hear about Glee until it was already making waves.

TiVo is well known for being a DVR, but many people don't really know that you can use TiVo Search to find your favorite TV programs, movies and Web video and watch them right away. It's like Google for your tv...it doesn't just record what is on tv for you to watch later, it brings other programming to you as well and lets you search for everything! This is definitely my favorite thing about the TiVo Premiere.

You can like TiVo on their  Facebook Fan Page and Enter to Win a new TiVo Slide in the "30 Slides in 30 Days" Sweepstakes (http://www.tivo.com/30slides )- it ends 9/22/10, so hurry!
