Poppin Prints- Review

Poppin prints is a new, on-line printing company that offers a range of high-quality stationery products. Founder Laura Mcgraw is a photographer whose twelve years experience with and passion for newborn portrait photography has culminated in the creation of a printing company that makes all its paper in the US, and helps sustain the Oregan community it is based in.

Here is an example of their flat card birth announcements (this is just beautiful!):

Products offered by poppin prints include holiday cards, invitations, announcements, and stationery for both children and adults. The quality of the products can't be fully appreciated by viewing on-line, but I was sent samples of the different types of products offered to describe. The basic cardstock is strong heavy matte, similar to the cover on a soft-covered book. The exquisite linen stock is a textured, beautiful material that is very elegant, and their signature metallic cardstock has a beautiful shimmer to it. My favorite is the exquisite linen, for both its beauty and feel, though all the paper types are strong and durable, and very high-quality.

Here is a sample of their birth announcement trifold card:

The other side showcases the fourth photo, the new arrival's name, and the baby's birth stats. The announcement folds up and is a stunning way to announce the arrival of a baby to friends and family, as well as being a beautiful memento for recipients to save.

Ordering from poppin prints is easy. You upload your photos and personalize your card as you wish, and if you need some ideas, poppin prints offered suggested wording and layouts. You can even create cards entirely from scratch, with your choice of font, colors, etc. if you choose. After you are done, you can preview your card to make sure it is perfect.

Here is an example of a two-sided baptism invitation. On one side is a photo of baby, on the other side is the information for the ceremony and reception.

Poppin prints specializes in children's stationery. They offer a great selection for both boys and girls, and I had the opportunity to review these great bifold Thank You cards, personalized with my son's name. I chose the following set (shown cover, and inside):

These cards were created on their heavy matte cardstock, and are a terrific way to teach children how to show gratitude~ I plan to raise a little gentleman :). The colors are vibrant, the overall quality much better than standard Thank You cards, and the design on the front is perfect for little boys. As all the cards are also personalized, it also gives a sense of pride to children, having a set of their own stationery to send thanks or to correspond.

Poppin prints also offer other great designs for boys, such as monkeys, other sports, and more, and the selection for girls is absolutely beautiful (great for adult women too). I'm hoping they expand to wedding invitations one day, because wedding invitations on their exquisite linen paper would be absolutely beautiful. Visit their web-site to view the full selection of their beautiful products, and try out some designs for your upcoming events. Use the code "penelope" for 17% off your order until the end of March, 2010.
