25 Weeks Pregnant

Today I got this e-mail from the What To Expect When You're Expecting web-site (they send me "daily deliveries" throughout my pregnancy):

At 25 weeks pregnant, your ever-growing uterus has now reached the size of a soccer ball. (Hey, look at that — you're already a soccer mom, and you didn't even have to buy the minivan yet!) You're probably enjoying your cute soccer ball tummy up in front (and getting to know your growing little midfielder through all those practice kicks).

I love that, because I've been calling my son "My little soccer player" due to his healthy kicking...I'm guessing I should start learning what soccer is all about, just in case (though I'm not cutting my hair, lol).

  12. How exciting! I still remember my son's kicks... yeah... he's already taken one soccer class! He's definitely a good kicker! :) You will have so much fun with your little boy!

  13. You should sing to him...that will calm the kicking down! Just between SITStas, if he's kicking at 25 weeks, just wait...

  14. Hi there :) I found your blog through today's SITS Roll Call ... I love the name Penelope!

I am 19 weeks pregnant now - with my second - and the WTE website compares my little fetus to a "mango dipped in cheese" ... I think I'd prefer a soccer ball-sized uterus :)

Anyway, just saying hi and congratulations from a fellow prego!

  16. Isn't it amazing! And weird how we just adapt to the feeling of their movement? I don't know what I am going to do when baby girl is out and I have to get used to not feeling her there anymore!

You have to post a naked belly pic!
