It's a BOY!!

We found out we are expecting a boy, and he is wonderfully healthy. I am now 21 weeks along, and my husband and I are so happy. Of course, my darling husband would have been happy no matter what the gender, but we like knowing how to refer to our little bunchkin now :)

I'm about 20 weeks along (he is a big boy!) here:

My parents are especially happy, as my sister is expecting a girl (she is two months further along), so now my parents will have their first granddaughter, and their first grandson right after!

Is this what the moms with sons have to look forward to?

These were sent to me by a friend in an e-mail that circulates the internet (don't know where they originated) but they had me laughing for an hour!

  2. Congrats on the news! My little boy was never a daredevil but he sure liked dirt and bugs.

  3. Congratulations! The upside of it being a boy is that they love, love, love their Mama's! (The saying "Mama's Boy" is very true!). Expect lots of hugs and kisses and for him to think that you hung the moon!

  7. Oh my gosh you are adorable! I would never think you were 20 weeks! You are teeny tiny!!!

Congratulations on having a soon to be bundle of boy joy!!! When my sister in law was expecting and found out they were having a boy I will admit to being a little freaked out. There had never been other babies in the family so I figured at least if they have a girl I know what girls are like, because I'm a girl!!! I tell you, I wouldn't trade having a nephew for anything in the world!!! He is so much fun, and so easy to care for!!! He is my little buddy and we have such a great bond! You and hubby are going to have so much fun with your son!!!

  8. Congratulations! Little Boys are awesome but yes, even at 14 months my son is a little wild man. He throws himself off ottomans, pushes our Doberman around, wrestles his 2 year old sister to the ground and jumps in the pool even if you are not there to catch him. Still he hugs and kisses and loves his family with that same excitement. Yay!

  9. Congrats! My little boy is a HUGE Mama's boy, and I have to admit, I LOVE IT! :) He is very snuggly and he kisses me all the time! He does like to climb everything in sight right now... he's 20 months old. And he likes to run around and dance to music. But he really is a good, sweet baby! I think my nieces are much wilder than he is!

You will have lots of fun and great memories with your little boy! :)

  27. Yes my Dear, that is what a Mother of Sons has to look forward too! My First Child was my son... and I can say that I HAVE experienced the peeing on the tire! *shakes head* He had to go.. We were in STARBUCKS parking lot... I was getting his Newborn sister out of the car, and I turn around and the kid has dropped his pants to his knees.... and well... yeah! Such a proud moment! lol

  38. I love having a boy, he is such fun! I don't mind what I have this time - due date on 22nd December, I am not desperate for 'one of each' as some people are. What God blesses me with is more than enough. A girl would be an adventure but another boy would be great too - a friend for Sam and the recycling possibilities for the mountains of clothes are endless! Take care xxx

  39. Congrats! Those photos are hysterical! Definately is what to be expected from having a boy!

  40. I'm new to your blog, but I wanted to say congrats!!!

  41. Congratulations! Oh boys are so much fun, though! And no, they are not easier than girls, in my opinion; at least, as they start to get older and form their own opinions about things anyway....:) They are so much fun, though; very adventurous! Hang on for the ride!:)

  42. Oh my! YES!!! That is what to expect with a boy, lol! But not for awhile. You will have your sweet smelling bundle on heaven for quite a bit before he gets rotten:) As I type this I hear my 2 boys karate chop each other in the other room!

Thanks so much for stopping by yesterday on my big FB day!
