Everything But Walking

Little man has been cruising along, holding on to furniture and cabinets as he walks himself around a room (with me in tow). He has been experimenting with letting go of one hand, and at times even both hands, before reaching quickly to steady himself again. When he lets go with both of his hands, we cheer to let him know it's something we're excited about, and as a result he has tried it a few more times.

He's also taken to imitating me when I hum a jingle or sing- he'll "hmmaaahmmm" right back at me :) He  is almost 8 1/2 months, and everyday that he learns something new, I feel the excitement as though I'm learning it for the first time too.
