Ingredients:
* 1 pound lean ground beef
* 32 ounce jar of pasta sauce (Italian style or with peppers and olives is yummy!)
* 1/2 box (about 15 pieces) of uncooked lasagna noodles
* 1 medium onion, chopped (optional)
* 2 cups shredded mozzarella
* 2 cups ricotta cheese
* 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
* olive oil to coat
* spices to taste (salt, pepper, dried basil, minced garlic, etc)
Directions:
* Oil the inside of the slow-cooker/crockpot with olive oil.
* Brown the ground beef well a skillet.
* Add the pasta sauce, spices, and onion to the cooked ground beef and stir well. Remove from heat.
* Combine the ricotta and mozzarella cheeses in a bowl.
* In the slow cooker, put 1/4 of the meat mixture on the bottom, layer lasagna noodles on top, and then add a layer of cheese (about 1/3 of mixture). Continue to layer.
* Cook on low setting for about 4 hours (until noodles tender).
* Add parmesan cheese on top, and let sit for about ten minutes (until cheese is melted).
Cut into pieces, serve, enjoy...this slow-cooker treat tastes great with garlic bread! Very yummy!
